I am the consummate right brained, visual person. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Miami University and am a vocalist and pianist. Math and Science elude me and I struggle with anything technical. I spent my college years mixing paint, and gaining a love for color and an understanding about design and space. After raising my family, I decided to pursue what has always been a part of my life: helping family and friends with color choices and decorating ideas.

I love paint chips. While in a paint store one day with my adult daughter, I was explaining how the color that she loved was formulated and she said, “You could do this job.” The idea blossomed into me working for Sherwin Williams as a Color and Design Consultant, happily using all the paint chips I so love. I now work independently from any company, giving me greater flexibility with color choices.

But it is more than just paint color to me. I believe that our homes are very important. They are the living spaces where the essence of our lives take place. We live, grow, recharge and heal in them. We raise families, connect with friends and celebrate life there. In some of our living spaces we also work, take care of others, and use our space as a gathering place for others. The walls in your home are the frame around the picture, the place where the essence of your life takes place.

I believe color is a key ingredient to our homes, and yet my experience shows that most folks find it easier to pick a sofa than the color for a room. My approach to the color consulting process is to listen, observe, teach and to guide. I believe color resonates differently for each person, and my goal is to help you find the color or palette of colors that resonate with you.
